I - TYPE OF WOOD
Group 1: oak, hornbeam, beech, ash, maple.
Group 2: chestnut*, acacia, wild cherry tree, fruit trees.
Group 3: other broad-leaved trees (poplar, birch, plane tree*).
* Chestnut and plane tree must obtain a certificate from Hygiene
services.
To belong to a group, sold goods can only be composed of the
corresponding tree essences
II - HUMIDITY
Measurements are based on gross weight.
Class H1 – Humidity below 20% > Can be used as sold.
Class H2 – Humidity between 20% and 35% > We recommend
users to let the wood dry for 6 months before burning it.
Class H3 – Humidity above 35% > We recommend users
to let the wood dry for a year before burning it.
